There are no conditions, restrictions or exclusions in our policy wordings that prevents our clients from performing corrective or revision procedures in relation to treatment previously performed by another practitioner.
Of course, practitioners should be fully trained and insured for the corrective procedure given and in the instance of using hyaluronidase it should be listed on your policy schedule treatment list, alongside your other treatments and products used.
If you do decide to get involved with a correction, we would always advise that you obtain full disclosure, full and complete consent forms and take as many before and after photographs as possible. If the corrective procedure does not end well or an infection occurs, there is a chance that you could be dragged into a claim that you and your insurers find it difficult to extrapolate you from.
This would of course have implications on your own claims history, not to mention the time.
